Sir Mix-a-Lot: "Why Not Have a Butt Right in the Middle of the Seattle Center?" (with audio)

Dominic Holden (SLOG):
This week's Stranger features a new column called A Big-Butt Museum Would Be Hot, by Sir-Mix-a-Lot, and today on the Dave Ross Show, Mr. Mix-a-Lot had his chance to reflect on the piece. "I think that's a great idea," he says. He wants glass butts, maybe with a slide down the middle for the the kids.

Here's the interview.

This is required listening (it gets good about two minutes in). Praises to Mr. Mix-a-Lot.

Howie P.S.: Dave (and his listeners) rant about the beverage tax being discussed in Olympia after Mix. In case you're wondering how this item ended up here, recall that Dave ran for Congress as the Democratic candidate in WA-8 in 2008.(Howie apologizes to Darcy: DAVE RAN IN '04.) After that, treat yourself to the wit and wisdom of Caribou Barbie and an update on the fundraising campaign to finance Seattle's Fourth of July fabulous fireworks show.
