"OBAMA CORNERS CLINTON"

JUST POLITICS:
For the first time in this campaign, Barack Obama has shown a little spunk and, in the process, put Hillary Clinton in a trap. Obama's offer to meet with unpopular leaders of countries like Cuba, North Korea and Iran brought a response from Hillary Clinton which sounded straight out of George Bush: "I thought that was irresponsible and frankly naive." The result was to leave HRC just another hardliner with no place to go after she does her macho act, a sort of Fox News Lite.

In fact, Obama's position is long overdue for someone who wants to occupy the White House and we suspect he was encouraged in it by members of a frustrated and wallowing Washington foreign policy establishment who see him as their new Trumpesque apprentice.

The archaic media, of course, played it up as an Obama gaffe, but in fact, for the first time, he has shown how he would do things better than Clinton.
