"Quick Review of Crashing the Gate"

"I received an early copy of Crashing the Gate by Markos Moulitsas ZĂșniga and Jerome Armstrong and spent about an hour looking through it last night. While the entire book is interesting, the most powerful chapter by far is called "The Gravy Train" which describes how institutional forces in Washington, D.C. -- political consultants, lobbyists, fundraisers -- have prevented the Democrats from innovating and, as a result, kept them from winning elections.

You may not always agree with what Markos and Jerome blog about, but if you're a Democrat and want to regain political power in this country, you would be foolish not to read this book. It's very well done and quite convincing."-from Political Wire.
